Waste Storage and Transfer System in Stanley

Through the Agricultural Non-Point Source Program's Under the Waste Storage and Transfer System, the farm installed one Waste Storage Facility, one Waste Transfer, 300 feet of Access Road, and 1,000 feet of fence. This Waste Storage and Transfer System provides the farm with an additional 7 million gallons of storage in a lined earthen storage immediately adjacent to the farmstead. The installation of this storage allows the farm to help meet the growing demand in the area. The farm will be able to store manure through the winter months and only apply manure to fields when conditions are favorable.
