Farm Stream Crossing Project

Through the Genesee Rive EPA grant, the District was able to help a farm install a stabilized area constructed across a stream to provide a travel way for livestock and equipment. This project improves water quality by reducing sediment, nutrient, organic, and inorganic loading of the stream, and it reduces streambank and streambed erosion.
