AGRICULTURAL ADVISORY COMMITTEES

Agricultural Advisory Committees made up of local farmers evaluate and prioritize requests for grant funding assistance in the Agricultural Environmental Management program. These farmers are long-term residents of the watersheds and municipalities in which they live and work. They have been an outstanding example of persons willing to devote time and effort to preserving farming as a viable, profitable and environmentally sound business in Ontario County.
